What Is IVF?

tüp bebek tedavisi

IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) treatment is the most preferred assisted reproductive technique. The treatment process starts by stimulating the ovaries using infertility medicine aiming women to produce more eggs than usual. The ovaries have follicles which are pouches filled with fluids. When the eggs are mature enough, they are removed from ovaries. The follicle fluid which has the eggs is removed and placed in a container. The eggs are inspected under the microscope. After the incubation period at the laboratory, washed sperms are added to the container. The fertilization and early embryo development happen in this container. After 2 or 3 days, fertilized eggs (embryos) are transferred to the uterus. This process is done with a soft and flexible catheter.
